Introducing a new feature: scan and compare grocery prices.

Welcome to Sweden's largest independent food price comparison app.

We assist over 300,000 savvy users each week in gaining insight and saving money. All services are completely free of charge.

You can select your preferred stores from ICA, Coop, Willys, City Gross, Ö&B, Rusta, Hemköp, Lidl, and others, and we display all extra promotional offers. Shopping based on these special prices typically results in savings of around 20% on average.

Additionally, a much-requested tool is now available: PRISKOLLEN. Scan or search for a product to see its price across various stores, including regular retail prices. This service has been developed in response to governmental requests for tools that make it easier for consumers in Sweden to compare grocery prices between retailers. While the task is complex, we hope you find our effort useful. Please note that this is a beta version with simple login options, and it remains completely free.

Here's how the app works:

• Select your favorite stores.

Priskollen:

• Scan or search for products you intend to purchase. View prices across your selected stores. Save your items. When you have at least five products saved, we compare the total costs based on your chosen store and generate insights on price differences—saving you money.
• Create shopping lists by selecting a store. It’s straightforward!

Standard Grocery Price Comparison:

• Select a store to view all ongoing offers. The average discount here is approximately 20%.
• Set alerts for specific items such as chicken fillet, beef tenderloin, diapers, or coffee, to receive notifications when these products go on sale in your preferred stores.
• From weekly deals, you can access simple recipes provided by Arla Mat by clicking the chef's hat icon.
• Add deals and recipes to your shopping list and supplement with your own items. You can also share your list with family and friends—everyone can add, remove, or comment in real-time.

About Matpriskollen:

We are a dedicated team of price enthusiasts based in Falkenberg. Since 2010, we have uploaded approximately 200,000 new offers weekly from over 3,000 stores nationwide. Our journey began when Håkan and Ulf grew tired of unnecessary paper advertisements that often go straight into the trash. As a result, we offer a "No flyers? No problem!" sticker set—available free of charge—to help consumers avoid paper clutter while still accessing all current deals.

Furthermore, we compile millions of regular prices from many stores across Sweden, enabling us to launch Priskollen within this app. Although not all prices are available yet due to the complexity of data collection, transparency remains our goal. We believe that gradually improving access to price information benefits everyone and encourages community-driven efforts.

Our free consumer services are funded through relevant advertising within the app and by packaging aggregated promotional and pricing data for sale to industry stakeholders and organizations such as Riksbanken. We strictly do not sell or share any personal data.
